UCLH Private Healthcare welcomes Dr Stefania Bruno

UCLH Private Healthcare is pleased to announce that consultant neuropsychiatrist Dr Stefania Bruno is now offering private consultations at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. 

Dr Bruno studied at the University of Bari in Italy. completing her thesis on cognitive functions of the cerebellum. She then completed her psychiatric training in London at UCL and at the Maudsley Hospital. 

Her areas of expertise include the neuropsychiatric aspects of acquired brain injuries (traumatic brain injury, stroke, encephalitis, brain tumours, etc.), neurodegenerative disorders, Alzheimer’s and non-Alzheimer’s dementias, Parkinson’s disease, and Huntington’s disease. She has research interests in the application of advanced neuroimaging to the study of neuropsychiatric disorders, the use of machine learning for the early detection of dementia, and the neurorehabilitation of auto-immune encephalitides.
